Cold Laser Therapy

What is LLLT?

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as “cold laser” therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-power lasers (under 1 watt) to promote healing, reduce pain and inflammation, and restore function in the body. Unlike high-powered “hot” lasers used in surgery, LLLT does not generate heat or damage tissue, making it safe for applications like laser acupuncture.

Benefits of LLLT

  • Enhanced collagen production

  • Improved blood flow and cell metabolism

  • Increased nerve regeneration and tissue repair

  • Reduced inflammation, swelling, and pain

Conditions Treated with LLLT

LLLT has been shown to be effective for a variety of conditions, including:

  • Arthritis, tendonitis, and joint pain

  • Fibromyalgia and muscle spasms

  • Back, neck, and shoulder pain

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve pain

  • Migraines, TMJ dysfunction, and plantar fasciitis

Overall, LLLT is a safe, drug-free therapy option that supports healing and pain relief across a broad range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
